Terms & Conditions

1. Scope

These Terms & Conditions apply to all transfer bookings made with R. Barbacari, trading as Avento Transfer, Bahnhofstrasse 36, 5322 Koblenz, Switzerland. Our services include private and group airport transfers, city-to-city rides and personalised trips within Switzerland and neighbouring countries. By making a booking you accept these terms.

2. Booking & confirmation

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. You will receive a booking confirmation by e-mail. A booking is only binding once it has been confirmed by us.

3. Prices

All prices are stated in Swiss francs (CHF) and are calculated based on the route and the selected vehicle. Avento Transfer is not subject to VAT; no Swiss VAT is charged or shown. Prices may change without notice for bookings not yet confirmed.

4. Payment

Payment is made in cash directly to the driver (CHF or EUR are accepted) upon completion of the transfer, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Cancellation

Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time. For later cancellations the following charges may apply:

• 24–48 hours before pickup: 50% of the booking amount;
• less than 24 hours before pickup, or no-show: 100% of the booking amount.

6. Modifications

Changes to your booking (date, time, route) can be made free of charge up to 24 hours before pickup, subject to availability.

7. Child seats

Child seats (rear-facing, forward-facing and booster seats) are provided free of charge on request. Please specify your requirements when booking.

8. Luggage

A standard luggage allowance is included. For excess or special luggage (ski equipment, golf bags, etc.), please inform us when booking so that an appropriate vehicle can be assigned.

9. Flight monitoring & waiting time

For airport pickups we monitor the flight you provide and adjust the pickup time to reasonable delays. A reasonable free waiting time applies at airports; extended waiting may be charged.

10. Liability

We carry the insurance required for passenger transport. We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather or other circumstances beyond our control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Swiss law.

11. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is the registered seat of the company, subject to any mandatory legal place of jurisdiction.
