2. Principles
We process personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection law (the revFADP and the Data Protection Ordinance) and, where it additionally applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We process personal data only as far as this is necessary for the specific purpose. We only process data that you provide to us or that is collected when you use our website and booking system. Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable person.
3. What data we process and for what purpose
3.1 When you visit our website (server log files)
Each time our website is accessed, your browser automatically transmits information to our server, which is temporarily stored in a log file: IP address, date and time of access, the file requested, the referrer URL, and the browser and operating system used. This data is processed to ensure a smooth connection, the security and stability of the system and technical administration. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and functional operation of the website. Log files are deleted after a short period unless they are needed longer to investigate security incidents.
3.2 Booking and enquiry data
When you request or make a transfer booking through our booking system, we process the data you provide, in particular: first and last name; e-mail address and phone number; pickup and drop-off locations; travel date and time; flight number and flight details (if provided), used to monitor your flight and adjust the pickup time; number of passengers and selected vehicle; and any special requests (e.g. child seats, ski equipment, luggage). This data is stored in our booking system and processed in order to handle and carry out your booking, to assign a suitable driver and vehicle, to communicate with you about your transfer, and to send booking confirmations and updates by e-mail. The legal basis is the performance of the transport contract and pre-contractual measures taken at your request. Payment for the transfer is made in cash directly to the driver; we do not process online payment or card data.
3.3 Contact by WhatsApp and phone
You can contact us and make enquiries by phone or via WhatsApp (a button is provided on the website). If you use WhatsApp, the data you transmit (in particular your phone number, name and the content of your messages) is also processed by WhatsApp (Meta Platforms). We have no influence over this processing by WhatsApp; its data protection terms apply, and data may be processed outside Switzerland and the EEA. We recommend not transmitting sensitive information via WhatsApp. The data you send us is processed solely to deal with your enquiry or booking. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses only technically necessary cookies and similar technologies (in particular a session cookie and a language preference). We do not use analytics, statistics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not build profiles of our visitors. Details are set out in our Cookie Policy.
5. Third-party services
5.1 Hosting
Our website and database are hosted by Hostinger. The data that arises (in particular the data described under 3.1) is processed on the provider's servers, which are located in Germany (EU).
Website development and technical maintenance: This website was developed and is technically maintained by REVERT MKT S.R.L. (RO CUI 50930476), Strada Zorelelor 4, Gherăești, Neamț, 617205, Romania. For maintenance activities (CMS updates, security, log monitoring) the provider may access personal data on the website with administrator privileges. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place. Transfer: intra-EU.
5.2 Google Maps
We use the Google Maps service (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC, USA) within the booking system: for address suggestions in the pickup and drop-off fields as you type, to calculate and display the route between the addresses you enter, and to show location maps. When these features are used, data is transmitted to Google – in particular your IP address and the pickup and drop-off addresses you enter – including to the USA. Further information: policies.google.com/privacy.
6. Disclosure of data to third parties
We disclose your personal data to third parties only where this is necessary for the purposes described, where you have consented, or where we are legally obliged or entitled to do so. Recipients may in particular be: the driver assigned to your transfer (only the information necessary to carry out the transfer); IT and hosting service providers that support us in providing our services; and authorities and courts where there is a legal obligation. Where we disclose data to service providers, we oblige them to process it only to the extent necessary and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We do not sell or rent your personal data.
7. Disclosure abroad
Where we disclose personal data abroad (in particular in connection with the services in section 5), this is done only to countries with an adequate level of data protection, or where we otherwise ensure adequate protection (e.g. through contractual safeguards), or where a legal exception under Art. 16 f. revFADP applies. The providers concerned have their registered offices, among others, in the EU or the USA.
8. Retention
We process and store your personal data for as long as is necessary for the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations. Data contained in invoices and accounting records is retained for 10 years in accordance with Swiss commercial and tax law. Other booking and enquiry data is deleted at the latest 3 years after your last booking or after the conclusion of the correspondence, unless longer retention is legally required. After that, the data is deleted or anonymised.
9. Data security
We take appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. Our website is provided over an encrypted connection (SSL/TLS), and access to booking data is restricted to those who need it.
10. Your rights
Within the scope of applicable data protection law, you have the right to information about whether and which personal data we process about you, to rectification of inaccurate data, to erasure of your data, to restriction of processing, to object to processing or to withdraw a consent given, and to the release or transfer of certain personal data. To exercise your rights, please contact us using the details in section 1; please note that we may need to verify your identity. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Switzerland this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), www.edoeb.admin.ch.
11. Supplementary information where the GDPR applies
Where the EU GDPR applies to the processing of your personal data (for example for clients resident in the EU), the following additionally applies: processing is based, depending on the case, on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) or our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority in an EU member state.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may amend this Privacy Policy at any time in order to adapt it to changed legal requirements or to changes in our services. The version published on this website at the relevant time applies.
